Visitor Parking Dashboard Overview for Managers

Why the Visitor Parking Dashboard is Needed

The Visitor Parking Dashboard provides strata and building managers with a central hub to oversee and control all aspects of visitor parking within their site.
Without this tool, managing parking allowances, monitoring vehicle activity, and ensuring fair access would require multiple systems or manual processes, increasing the risk of disputes and misuse.

By consolidating parking bollard controls, allowance settings, user management, and session monitoring into one platform, the dashboard helps managers:

  • Maintain fair allocation of visitor parking spaces
  • Respond quickly to operational needs such as raising or lowering bollards
  • Monitor parking activity in real time to prevent overstays
  • Manage resident parking allowances and related fees efficiently

What Managers Can Oversee

1. Parking Bollard Operations

  • View Bollard Status – See which bollards are raised or lowered in real time.
  • Manual Control – Raise or lower a bollard when needed (e.g., to allow access).
  • Site & Bollard Details – Identify bollard location, type (hybrid or standard), and whether it includes an EV charging station.

Note: Managers cannot add or edit bollards — only view and operate them.

2. Parking Allowance Management

  • Default Allowance – Configure the monthly visitor parking allowance based on building size and usage rates.
  • Custom Allowance – Override defaults for special circumstances.
  • Temporary Extra Allowance – Provide additional time for residents during events or mobility parking.
  • Extra Parking Fees – Set fees for usage beyond the free allowance.

3. Monitoring Parking Sessions

  • Track active and past sessions to see how visitor bays are being used.
  • Identify patterns of overuse or potential misuse.
  • Ensure compliance with the building’s parking policies.

4. Managing Resident User Details

  • View & Edit Users – See registered residents along with vehicle registration, contact info, and apartment details.
  • Allowance Tracking – Monitor each resident’s remaining allowance.
  • Account Status – Check if a user is active, inactive, or pending approval.
  • Search & Filter – Quickly find specific residents or groups based on site, role, or status.

The Visitor Parking Dashboard is designed to make parking oversight simple, transparent, and fair.
It ensures managers have the right tools to control access, monitor usage, and keep residents informed — all from one place.
